Chocolates manufactures an extensive range of award-winning
handmade chocolates.
Nina’s produce over
120 different fine handmade chocolates, using the best
raw materials including Belgian chocolate to produce
a “wow” taste sensation in the form of
fresh cream/liqueur truffles, pralines, and soft-center
creams just to name a few. They also specialise in
festive lines, novelty chocolates, wedding bonbonniere
and corporate gifts.
Nina’s Chocolates supply their handmade chocolates throughout Australia
to major retailers, numerous chocolate specialty stores, leading hotels, restaurants, caterers
and corporate clients.
Nina’s Chocolates production facility is located at 27 Gymea Bay Rd, Gymea
in a stylish village shopping strip. Nina’s have created a ‘chocolate
theatre’, as their retail store is incorporated within the actual manufacturing
facility, which allows customers a “birds-eye” view of the operation.
Nina’s Chocolates is a family business started by George and May Magganas
in 1995. The business was named after their daughters Nicole and Natalie. George
who is a Food Technologist with 20 years experience in the food industry, has
always had a passion for handmade chocolates. May, who is an Accountant has brought
her expertise to the business and together with a great team of talented and
dedicated staff have created a successful business.
Nina’s Chocolates has gained much recognition over the years, winning over 100
prestigious awards including Most Successful Chocolate Exhibitor Sydney Royal
Easter Show 2004 & 2005, Most Successful Chocolate Exhibitor Royal Melbourne Dairy Produce Show 2004 & 2005, NSW Champion of Champions in Manufacturing 2003 & 2004,
